The inspiration for the artwork comes from the legendary story of Wanxichong Village. It is said that before the village, there was a rocky terrain unsuitable for cultivation. However, after heavy rain, numerous streams were formed upstream, changing the village's topography and creating a magical dragon vein. This dragon vein brought fertile soil and water resources, allowing pear trees to quietly sprout and grow into a dense pear orchard, blessing the local villagers and their descendants. To commemorate the prosperity brought by the dragon vein, a Hui Long Temple was built in the village. The depiction of the dragon in "Pear Blossoms Falling" is inspired by the ancient murals found on the temple walls, although the exact dynasty is uncertain.

Why are pears so important for the local development? There is a historical story behind it. The precious Baozhu pears grown in the area were of excellent quality and became a highly sought-after tribute item, renowned far and wide. Throughout history, the Baozhu pear industry has become a major driving force for the local economy.

In creating "Pear Blossoms Falling," the artist utilized ZBrush software for all the sculpting work, integrated the UV files in Maya, and used Substance Painter and 8Monkey software for texture painting and rendering.
